The Only Drawback to Electronic Queries

STATUS: Time to head home for an evening with my honey.

What’s playing on the XM or iPod right now? I WANT TO KISS YOU ALL OVER by No Mercy

A teacher girlfriend sent me this picture and I have to say, the only drawback to digital queries is that we can't use this stamp.

*grin*

And trust me, there are many times when it pretty much sums it up for us.

I think I could use that stamp when I'm editing my own manuscripts.

Love it. I've got a stamp that says 'staple this to your face', which is a tad too aggressive to use. Well, more than once a week.

Haha! I love it.

I need one of those at work.... I'd use it every day. Every hour, even...

Teaching an on-line class the tool I use the most is "Let Me Google That For You".

Too funny. Kinda sad, but definitely funny.

The main drawback of electronic queries is that your heart gets broken quickly ...and often.

I'm not speaking in specific terms now, nor am I relating this to my own personal experiences. But something like this could come in handy for authors when they get edits back, too.

You know that the pdf X-Change viewer can do stamps, even in the free version, right? ;-)

That. Is. Epic.

ROFL Hey, if the Kindle has ways to get author autographs appended, surely you can do that with email?

Ha! Love it. As an instructor, I cannot tell you how many times those three loaded letters run through my mind. It's probably best that isn't stamped on manuscript proposals though... ;-)
